I knew it would only be temporary. But I didn't want to think that it might end so soon. The legal matters regarding my custody have finally reached a conclusion, and I will be staying with my aunt and uncle in California.
Clairbourn is such a wonderful place. I will always regard it, and the dear people within, as some of my fondest memories. I had so much fun, and met so many wonderful friends. Thank you for your understanding and patience, for I know that someone as sheltered as I was, as I am, could be a burden. For that, I apologize.
Cousin Kamina, your kindness will always be remembered and cherished. Thank you for allowing me to reside within your home, especially in spite of our poor family relations. I'm so grateful for all you've done, and I apologize for all of the food poisoning. I shall send you cookies once I am settled, perhaps I shall improve while I am away. Good luck with your Gurren Brigade! I was proud to me a member of such a fine group.
I will write to anyone who wishes to leave me their address. I've always believed that handwritten letters are much nicer than e-mail, and I'll be certain to include little souvenirs on occasion as well. Please, do write! I should be quite lonely otherwise.
