awesome weekend!!! saw Hairspray on friday, some of the singing could have been better but overall, loved it!
went to Vancouver yesterday morning first to see my new basement suite for the fall, looks good, especially for the price, and my neighbourhood is awesome!
then of course, the main event, saw Silverchair!!!! soooooo good!!!! and we got right at the front and it was awesome and sweaty and painful and awesome!!! but they put on a really good show, not much old stuff but that's cool cause their new album is so good and all the songs are very concert appropriate if you know what I mean, very lively and fun, even the slower ones worked really well. they did do one song off the 2nd album (that was as old it got) though and the keyboardists left so it was just them and Daniel even played the guitar he always used to play back in the day, which was really cool. and I bought an overpriced hoodie and split an overpriced button pack with Dylan, we tried to get setlists/picks/drumsticks etc. but it seemed the crew wanted to give them to everyone but us, seems we're not obnoxious or slutty enough. sigh.
The only that did not get accomplished was getting Harry Potter because sadly, I am quite broke, so I'll have to steal it from Alyssa in the hopefully near future (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)
