There was Peter Stormare in the season finale of The Blacklist. He was playing a baddie (obviously) who cut off his own hand in order to escape. I shall not add anything *g*
On a side note, Blacklist writers: the so-called ambiguous language thing about said cut off hand kind of sucks since I wondered what the suspects actually meant right from the beginning - but let's say this was my ESL-ness speaking and that it was actually ambiguous (in the expected way) for a native speaker.
