For someone who's never watched The Borgias this is the kind of fic that makes me think I should!

I'm guessing poor, useless Alfonso is impotent?!! Poor fellow...no wonder a nubile woman like Lucrezia needs to find 'love' elsewhere!

LOL, no, sweet, useless Alfonso is just... not Cesare, I guess? She's actually fond of him - at least, she was at the beginning, I'm not sure how much respect she still has for him by now - but as she put it at some point "maybe their love should be more of the soul". To which he innocently asked "Like brother and sister?" Ouch *g*
But no. Totally fit for marriage duties. They had to prove it in public and everything worked. (Yes, that's an... interesting show ;))
