You put your finger on what I wanted to convey - at least I was aiming for that contrast of the sensations. I like the idea of the two of them coming back to Chicago, probably because I usually set my post-series fics in Costa Rica and I miss the original settings of the show. Being so comfortable with each other isn't something I wrote consciously, but in my mind they've been married for a few years, so well...

I used to write a lot more of Michael/Sara, but every now and then I still come up with something about them. (The rest of the time, I gravitate towards Michael/Sara/Lincoln which is... not necessarily everyone's cup of tea ;))

I haven't written a lot of fics with kids or pregnancy related, and they're always short. The main/only one is probably Roses and Cabbages. Kids are mentioned in Of Nightmares, Night-Lights and Kept Promises and White Christmas. And if you don't mind Michael/Sara/Lincoln in Four Times Sara and Lincoln Tackled Michael Down and Kids (Past, present and future). But I think that's pretty much it...
