Maybe also a bit of angst, given it's set - at least in my mind - in the Sum of the Parts 'verse, where there can some tensions.
Characters alive and with the hope that things work out? Qualifies as happily ever after in my book *nods*

Perhaps we have an out-dated vision of what fairytales are supposed to be, that said? Not that it makes their situation fairytale-material :-p

Yes! A happy ending is not necessarily a everything's perfect ending; the later can be boring anyway.

I absolutely agree. A happy ending where Michael is confined to a wheelchair but he and Sara are together would still be a happy ending! For example!

I think I can do without the wheelchair, though :-p I was rather thinking about something like Sara and Michael not ending together (oh, wait, I wrote this although only in French), or Michael going back to jail for some time (oh, wait, I wrote this too :-p)
I guess I mean a not totally happy ending but with hope that things can get better eventually.

I hope the porch's bits got together ;)

I wonder what kind of scenarios I haven't written *sigh* even though I favor the happy ending ones.

In the first case, it's Inaccessible, but it's in French only.

In the second case, it's Back to Chicago: Michael, Sara and Lincoln meeting up again for LJ's wedding after a few years of estrangement - but checking the comments, I see you read that one when I posted it, a few years ago.
