Tomorrow, I'm supposed to give Boss an answer about something. I've considered the issue during all the weekend and I still don't know what to do. Basically, it boils down to a simple question: how much stroking my ego, adding a tiny bit of interest to my job and a pay raise of 17 euros *inserts a couple of lol* weighs versus possible healthy

Chef prétend que - outre la fortune de 17 euros - ça ne ferait grosso modo qu'officialiser une situation existante. C'est pas 100% faux, mais la différence entre une situation officieuse et une situation officielle, c'est que dans le second cas, tu n'as plus la latitude de répondre "même pas en rêve" ^__^

PC World sounds like a Disney World for computers *g* Sadly, it won't be as fun for The Boy (and you), will it? I hope you get him back ASAP.

PC World should be like Disney World for computers but they are dedicated to selling you technology you don't really want. And speaking of The Boy they wanted £29.99 (why don't they just say £30?!!) to do System Restore as a first step and they didn't even ask how it was set up...my friend's hubby did it for free! So I still have The Boy...so far so good!

It was a non-answer. I've avoided the question yesterday, and today Boss wasn't here. Maybe if I don't say anything, she won't ask again? Because I still don't knoooow. Making any decision is like a Big Issue for me, these days *sighs*

So The Boy has accepted to connect wirelessly again?

Was it the System Restore stuff available on most computers? And if so, are they kidding? Basically, you start the thing and wait for the computer to work, crossing your fingers everything goes fine and and it solves the problem. Are they charging £30 - sorry, 29.99 - for crossing their fingers? o_O

I think the .99 thing is fairly common. Before the euro, we had a lot of prices like 199.90 francs (the smallest coin was 5 cents, so it was .90 instead of .99 but same difference). With the euro, we have a lot of prices like 29.99 euros... Because you know, we're too dumb to realize that, price wise, 29.99 and 30 are pretty much the same thing.

... I'm always amazed by my propensity to rant at the smallest things *g*

Thanks *hugs* I spent Monday not talking about the issue, and Boss wasn't here today. So, so far, I've been on avoidance-mode ^__^
