I liked Michael's arrogance pre-series: there was something almost naïve about it, given how he looked down on Lincoln when he partly owned him his nice situation.

TBH, I cheated here: it actually was the draft of a (very) old ficlet that I translated and polished. But yep, I'm still working on a couple of things \0/

Lately I tend to misread things at first glance. That's why I assumed you wrote Michael and Lincoln going on a holiday... errm... Guess what I thought was the title... --> "In Spain" ... *hangs head*

Very soon I discovered I was slightly wrong... and discovered a geat little fic! Great dynamical conflict in Linc's mind. He'd always known it's wrong but still he couldn't resist. (I won't blame him ;))

... the first time that he lifted his hand to hit and let it fall to caress.

That's my fave line!

I'd gladly laugh at you, but the sad truth is, these days, I tend to invert words or use one for another all too often, so well... Me not in the best situation to mock you. But I'm happy you weren't too disappointed that the fic isn't about vacation in Spain *g*

It's part of the appeal when writhing this pairing, isn't it, dealing with the wrongness and the angst.
