Really, really nice- the imagery, the metaphors, and the double meaning to it all.

I love that Michael, who tries so hard to be logical, always caves into his heart and heat in the end.

I recycled, with this fic ;-) The first couple of sentences was initially the beginning of "Oblivion", but the fact that I'd already used the same theme in a previous fic bugged me, and above all, it felt a bit too moody or gloomy for what I had in mind.

I love that Michael, who tries so hard to be logical, always caves into his heart and heat in the end.

That's the catch, isn't it? With a clear head, what he should do is obvious - but not so easy in the heat of the moment.

Even the overall mood of this lovely little drabble has the feel of light and dark! Michael's light side knows this is so wrong but his dark side cant' resist the heat of the moment. Lip-lickingly good!

His remorse never lasts for long, though: it’s soluble in Lincoln’s pleasure.

Fantastic metaphor!! You really have a way with English; are you sure it isn't your mother-tongue?!!! :)

As always, a clever insight into their relationship. Plus, you know, heat?!! Extremely tasty and tastefully done, sweetheart.

I'm probably just a bit too fond of the atmosphere and the metaphor - I've written them in a similar way once, probably used the "light" theme a couple of times and often picture my stories happening in this kind of light - but it's just... fitting.

Pretty sure. I have quick access to wordreference.com on my iGoogle homepage to prove it *g* That being said, aren't fanfics (smutty or not) an interesting way to improve your knowledge of a foreign language?

Plus, you know, heat?!!
I guess this is a case of "less is more" because what happens remains quite hinted at :-p

It really is. The kind of relationship they have is certainly not one for the full light of day, is it? It's a shadowy thing and it works perfectly!

Totally! No finer way, is there?!! And keep using wordreference!! It works!! *g*

I agree wholeheartedly. The scariest horror films are those that rely on the viewer filling in the truly horrifying scenes instead of filling the screen with gore and entrails! I think our imaginations work better when something isn't portrayed in all it's graphic detail, huh? :)

The weekend is nearly here so I'm hoping to do lots of catching up, particularly finishing the first item story!! That's #1 on my 'to do' list! *crosses fingers*

Speak soon, darling! *hugs*
