Oh, how wonderful! I've pretty much given up on reading Bones fanfic these days because I have no interest in anything conventional any longer. And the only ones I am interested in are for pairings that I'm pretty much the only person writing for (curses!) ;)

Anyway, this is my warped way of saying thank you for writing something that is different and original and NOT B/B ;D (Which is no offense to B/B...I just have no interest in them any more)

Okay, so both Cam and Sweets were incredibly IC. You have them both nailed perfectly. I could see and hear them having this conversation. I especially love Sweets' awkwardness. And the way Cam is so bold without being overly obvious about it. I so see her being that way :).

And I especially loved these sentences in particular: It works nonetheless: he swallows hard, actually hearing the sound of his throat working. He’s supposed to be good at this, good at reading the body language and evaluate it, but he finds himself caught in it, floored by the odd interest she’s showing for him.

Fantastic lines right there.

Anyway, this was super great! I hope you write more unconventional ships. They're so much fun and can be super intriguing! This was superb :D

I'm flattered you found this interesting enough to give it a try :D

The amount of fics about central and/or canon pairings can sometimes be a bit... overwhelming. In my main fandom, I've read and written such a lot that those fics now have to be outstanding to keep my attention. That being said, I'm not very acquainted with Bones fandom, but I had a hunch that, pairing wise, tokenblkgirl's prompt was rather original :p At some point of S4, I had the vague feeling that Angela/Sweets could work for me, but I'd never considered Cam/Sweets.

I especially love Sweets' awkwardness.

*g* Poor Sweets. Professionally speaking, he's so capable, but I can totally picture him losing a bit of his composure in this kind of situation.

I'm so glad you found Cam and Sweets in character here and that the lines you quoted work for you. I wasn't sure I could sell Cam's interest, and it's great to know it came out well. Thanks a lot for the nice feedback :)
