Oh, this was awesome! You so nailed Brennan's character and I liked how the fic seemed to circle around that one moment, a simple bithday wish! Loved it and I really hope you write more Bones stories, this was excellent!

Hehe, yep, I watch Bones ;-) Actually I've only seen the first three seasons, maybe a bit of the fourth. I need to catch up. I don't 'fangirl' the show enough to really write stories but I had a - tiny - plot bunny and was happy to manage to write something for you, and something different from PB.

I think in the show Brennan is a fine line between caricature and real. Luckily she has Booth and Angela to take care of the humanity aspect of her character...and no, I didn't feel she was Spock-like. She just has a very analytical mind, don't you think? Which is what you presented here!

The icon is from the Angel episode Eternity when the dreaded Angelus put in a very scary appearance!! If you want it help yourself, sweetheart. And here's another if you'd like it. Feral chained Angel!! Bit like Cuffed!Michael!! :)

I don't watch many shows, mostly because I work shifts and if I were to record everything that piques my interest I'd spend half the night watching it all!! So PB, of course, and Bones and I am trying to get to watch True Blood on dvds which katipl so kindly sent me but still trying to find time for that! Otherwise I mostly like documentaries.

So what other shows do you watch, apart from PB and Bones? :)

She just has a very analytical mind, don't you think?Indeed. And she's blunt but not really offensive - not from from the viewer/reader's POV anyway - because there is a certain candor in her remarks, which probably makes her fun to write
