Urban Blight Follow-up
About 2 weeks ago, I posted about a building that I'd been watching fall apart for about 4 years. As of September 11, 2008, the concrete blocks from a top corner of the building had fallen and lay broken on the sidewalk (shown in pictures in the previous post). Over the past 2 weeks, I've been watching the whole corner look like it was going to fall and wondering how long that would take. But, it looks like I'll never know. As I got off the freeway today, there was a bulldozer there and the building was a big pile of rubble. Finally, my tax dollars at work! :)
