My Laptop was hit by a virus

While I was searching for information on the next season of Dexter since season 4 has just ended. Somehow or another when I was looking up on it I opened a link on google and all of the sudden I was hit by a virus which became worse, till I had no choice but to call the tech support guys from Dell to get their engineers to come to help me reformat it because I had an error with Dell Image Restore......

They came today, which I was soo glad for to get it done and now I can use it but I have to install certain things that I want and need again.......it's really troublesome......*sigh*
