I never knew this much about Dee Dee's death...even after watching the 'End Of The Century' documentary....
wow...that's really sad.
I knew he died of overdose...but the rest I didn't know

On June 6, 2002, around 2 pm, Dee Dee's wife Barbara Zampini left the house. She returned at 8:25 pm to find him collapsed, face down over the arm of the couch, and unresponsive. She called 911, and death was pronounced at 8:40 pm. Night. He was 49 years old.
They found a needle puncture in his left arm, and his head was lying in puke. They also found needles, a spoon, and a couple of balloons commonly used to sell heroin.
His official cause of death... overdose. Accidental.
