Rats in the belfry
We had our handyman doing some serious cleaning in the house, and we tackled the stuff sitting on the rafters in the garage. A lot of that is old model kits, books, magazines, etc., Christmas or Halloween decorations, and so all, all nicely sealed in plastic boxes. We do have a bunch of paintings though, as well as some old carpets. We pulled the carpets down to take a look, and it looks like rats had made their home in the Persians, eating some large holes, and leaving dropping everywhere. We threw the carpets out (our handyman took a couple), and cleaned everything out. I was a bit sad about a brown Persian I rather liked, but it was the worst damaged.
