Edit: Sorry - the link is to a Washington Post article about the SEAL takedown of the pirate stand off this weekend. The pirates were on a lifeboat with no fuel, on a tow cable from the Navy destroyer, with little water and food, and waving guns at the merchant captain. They didn't do a lot of endgame planning...
