Last night I went to a benefit concert for Darfur. It was a jazz concert. I particularly liked the second act. I even bought CDs with a couple of songs they did.
I decided I should post about it. It's an amazingly horrible situation over there, and I think it's important to push our government to continue applying pressure in the region. There's a website you can use to find out how your legislators measure in working on the problems in Darfur. All of my legislators get A+s. I'm probably going to email them thank you notes anyway, and I think I'm gonna check out my parents' zipcode and see what their legislators are like.
