Greetings world!
Guess who hasn't used their livejournal since the 3rd Pirates Premiere?
In hopes of actually keeping up with this again and perhaps participating on the internets I shall recount the amazing last month or so!
-I graduated! Well, sort of! I officially graduate in Winter when I start my Masters program. I shall be a working with my new best friend the Polypterus and examining every minute detail of its breath cycle. Perhaps if I get really bored I'll start recounting all of my data to the internets... It was awesome spending time with friends and family and playing Rock Band for almost ten hours straight!
-Immediately after graduating I ran off to Arizona to be in the wedding of my very dear friend Stephanie! Twas crazy fun! even if I still can't believe my friends are a getting married!
-Next came Anime Expo, which is really just an excuse to frolic about in costume and be considered cool! Jessica and I were an awesome cosplay duo!
-Also the Ashley Miller Disneyland Death March returned! I went on many rides and was befriended by many a small child, and dragged Rachel and Jessica along for the ride! I also wore a stuffed snake fondly named Glambert around my neck for much of our time there! Also a priceless quote from Rachel of "I like my men like I like my rollercoasters!"
-Rachel and I also surrendered all dignity and coolness and attended the Adam Lambert, I mean American Idol, Tour! It was so much fun, and we got to meet most of the Idols and scream loudly whenever Adam or even a shirt with his face on it came on the screens. Rachel and I also got our "moment" with Adam and know declare Sarver our peep!
-And Comic Con! Complete epicness! There was Tim Burton, Surprise! Johnny Depp, Twilight Panel of Akwardness, Umbrella Academy Shenanigans, David Tennant, and John Barrowman, just to name a few highlights! Plus more great cosplay fun!
-And lastly MCR at the Roxy! The greatest concert of my life!
Now tis back to reality, as I start TAing and spending a good portion of my days in the laboratory!
Hopefully I'll actually start updating this thing again! Perhaps I shall soon treat you all to more elaborate reports complete with pictures soonish!
