After seeing people crash left and right, that killed my curiosity. I've had enough weirdness without adding that as well. Of course, some people just can't get enough....

Not exactly. They behaved the same as they always did, until I told them to leave me alone, but I'm not sure if that was a malfunction, an experiment or if there was another reason of which I'm not aware. They haven't approached me since, though.
I didn't speak to the people involved, only saw and heard about the incidents over the journals, so I can't say for certain, but it seems that the face-painting, water, and the yelling of that particular phrase were all the same.
It is still possible to deal with undignified situations gracefully. They can make you look ridiculous, but they can't make you act like... well, like half of Luceti's population.

I'm not injured. That bench will be quite unusable for some time though.

Better it than you. I won't pretend to understand the appeal of those rides, though, especially since I haven't heard of anyone not crashing.
