This unnecessary behavior is an experiment? I should have realized.

I haven't heard much of them these past days, but the last I spoke with them they were well.

That is my assumption, at any rate. Most likely it has something to do with this Valentine's Day...

Well, it could be significantly worse. The last experiment I was involved in caused some people to go truly insane. In a dangerous way.
