Heroin for Everyone!
I had my second class with second city tonight. Acting classes are kinda like methadone for me, they'll hold me over for a little while but by Monday next I'll be climbing the walls again looking for a fix. It's amazing how quickly I fall into old patterns of being in a classroom setting. Not that I mind, my classroom personae serves me well in this setting. It's a delicate balance of teacher's pet and class clown. Keeps me in good with the teacher but doesn't hurt me with the other students. The class is a little on the easy side for me, mostly stuff that I covered in high school, but Second City insists that you start from the beginning so I start form the beginning.
Other than that I had a low-grade crappy day. Cut myself pretty bad shaving and it took me 15 minutes to stop the bleeding, the printer at work was giving me grief all day, and I get home to find out I somehow managed to leave the freezer door ajar and now I have to cook all my meat tomorrow.
Bah.
Ugh.
Gah.
