(no subject)
Last night I started reading a new book-which is interesting as I haven't actually finished reading the last book. This one looks promising though and I look forward to reading it some more. With the audio book I am currently on, I will make the 40 count no matter what. Hopefully I finish the Dark Tower book ANYWAY, and this book, and it will be 42-then only eight more and I will be able to have 50 books this year. That's the extended goal-forty is only to beat last year. Ugh, last year. I really want to get forty but as I am rushing to read a book at the end, I am unable to finish it in time. That was upsetting. On the flip side, if I was going to go for fifty straight up this year...I don't know if I would have gotten it. As usual I slacked in the middle of the year. Not so much as slacked, really, as was reading an uninteresting book. As such it was difficult to continue. I read a lot of not exactly the best books this year. How unfortunate.
