We noticed something last night. The nurse wasn't 100% careful with the gavage and there was quite a little bit of air that went down with her tube feeding last night, and loe and behold, she spits up. Of course, with the gavage feedings, they don't burp her. This is beginning to make sense. Some nurses report no problems whatsoever with spitups... ( Read more... )

lmao I've had the electric pump for a week now. I'm pumping every two hours for the next few days because I'm having some supply/demand issues. But I"m still going after it!

playtex embrace and yes, made mega difference. now if I can just fool my body into thinking I'm not stressed out and the baby's actually around, I'll be doing good. *sigh*

it was the same for me. i thought my avent isis was great until i tried my PIS. what a difference!

some moms will play a recording of their baby's cries while they pump. some look at a picture of baby or even smell baby's clothing or blanket while pumping. i've also heard that twidling the other nipple will speed up the letdown on the boob you are pumping.
