Hey everyone! I haven't posted in so long, for no reason other than that I live an extremely boring life.
So Supernatural this season. Unpopular fandom opinion warning. I don't even know. Something is just missing this season. I can't put my finger on it. I'm kind of disappointed to be honest. I enjoy it and everything but it doesn't rock my world like before. I still park my butt on the couch at 7:55 every friday night, and I will until the very end, but it's just not quite the same. I started to think maybe my SPN love was just fading after all this time, but I've been marathon-ing season one and I was still spazzing and flailing like a crazy person, so for me it's just this season. I don't know.
I've really been loving The Big Bang Theory. I have a serious crush on Sheldon. And Raj. But I love everyone. That show is SO FREAKING FUNNY.
Lately we've been thinking about moving again, this time way over to Virginia, in the Virginia Beach or Norfolk area. The thing is, Colorado is beautiful and all, but it's miserable in the summer (no A/C) and it's miserable in the winter because it's FREEZING AND SNOWING FOR SIX MONTHS. I know most people say we have such mild winters and all that, but I lived and grew up in Phoenix where it rarely gets below 40ish in the dead of winter, so yeah, 15 degrees is not pleasant for me. I have a shit load of family here (seriously, like 40 people) but they all turned out to be immature asshole rednecks save for about 2 people, and it's obvious no one has accepted us into their little cliques. It's like high school with them. So ridiculous. Basically what I'm saying is I'm not attached to anything or anyone here, and I just feel like there's nothing here for us.
We're flying out there a few days before Thanksgiving and staying through that week to look at houses and check out the area, since my brother and I have never been there. My mom has a friend she's known since she was in high school who lives in Virginia Beach, who lives in a condo right ON THE BEACH, WOO, and we're staying with him. The last time I saw the ocean I was in 6th grade, so yeah, I'm a little excited. :D
I carved a pumpkin for the first time in probably 3 years. It didn't turn out that great but it was surprisingly fun.
I didn't dress up this year but Dexter did! My little police officer (and his trademark 'why are you doing this to me' look). ^^
Then I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show with my mom (awkward at times, and yes, I took a picture of the TV with my camera), and then The Walking Dead with my brother, which I LOVED. It's about time someone made a zombie show.
