Well, my day was full, how about yours?
Chased cattle today. Well, mainly stood near the corral area to make sure they didn't jump fence before we got them in the trailer. took 3 loads of 5-8 cattle each from our place, to grandma's. third time, got caught in the middle of a thunderstorm. low visibility, high wind, hail, worry about the cattle getting too nervous... and then my aunt's dog who just had to ride with us that trip, on the back of the truck. Got to a gas station with an overhang, but many others on the road at that time were already there so we were like right at the outside edge of it. xD. before we got there, my aunt was worried about the hail possibly being big enough/hitting hard enough to risk breaking the windshield and all. Tried to get gas while we were there but she couldn't get the pump to work ><. head on to grandma's after it lightens up, and we find out we had an open gate to the corral area we'd put the other two loads. Hopefully some didn't wander off, since those are cattle to sell I think. Got my sneakers & socks soaked since I have no boots to wear when working 'round the house/farm/dealing with cattle and rain -.- they'll probably still be kinda damp in the morning too. Bah. On the way home, suddenly thought about the fact that my laptop had been on when I left the house, and the thunderstorm that came through, but sister turned it off fortunately.
Came home, started turning computer on.. Jason calls. ♥
They've now found a place, put down security deposit stuff and are gonna start moving in tomorrow. He sounds happier, which makes me happier. Plus it means that soon he'll be able to get internet back and things can get some semblance of normal again. I miss being able to talk to him practically whenever. And the fact that I rarely say anything about me/whats up/how I've been when we talk. For... whatever reason. Doesn't matter. >_>
Now I need to shower and get the dust/cowshit-particles/general sweat etc off me. And sleep, sleep is good. xD
Also: I found and downloaded BBC's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio show the other day. :D haven't listened to it yet though. Also downloaded a movie that I haven't found the opportunity to watch yet - The Breakfast Club. Weee. lol.
Agh, still need to send Casanova to Rosie. >< (Girl, remind me! And it'd still work out better if we could just do it overnight and just get it all done at once. >>)
