Hah. So, a few weeks ago the cd drive on our desktop computer went out.
Today I happened to mention the external DVD drive to dad that he'd bought a couple years ago, before he had dvd write capabilities on his laptop at the time. He'd forgotten he had it...
So now we have a working CD drive connected to the computer again. I can play some different games again, or burn music to CD, now. Weeee.
... shame we couldn't have remembered this sooner. haha.
