My nails are getting really long, as they often do.
I always plan to cut them, because they are sharp and ugly and I can't type properly. One day I'd like to say it stops me from playing my guitar properly too. But I don't really play my guitar...
I want to cut them after a shower when they are nice and tender. But I'm rushing after morning showers and I'm too sleepy after night showers. And if I'm not I tend to forget.
I swear I'll cut them tomorrow morning. I'll exercise and eat healthy and study a lot too... yup
My dad complains the most about long nails. Once I had just cut my nails and the next day he asked me why they were so long. I have naturally long nails, which will always be my excuse for being unable to hold chords on my guitar that I never play.
In high school I got influenced by an Asian friend and grew my little finger nail. It gets really scary when it's longer, as if it'll peel off with a slight knock. So I stopped.
My hands and nails used to be very girl-shaped too apparently! My aunt asked me at a family dinner, "Why are you hands so beautiful?" and I was really really lost for words to say...
