Landmark is a bit scary to me, but there are a few things I feel like I should say.
I don't want to vilify Landmark attendees with this post. I'm happy that Landmark has really helped people. I just want to make sure people who are thinking of attending Landmark look at the issue from all perspectives before getting involved.
I recommend people to exercise some skepticism before attending any Landmark event. This is because many experts have made parallels between Landmark and brainwashing or cult-like behaviour. Please don't attend an event just because you've been told by a friend or out of peer pressure. Go do some research to see how you feel about it yourself.
People can say my view is biased, and I agree. However, Landmark attendees are equally biased.
If Landmark attendees are truly thinking in their friends' best interests, I urge them to tell their friends to seek professional independent advise before attending a Landmark event.
That's my stand... I think I've been feeling guilty that I never 'warned' people about this.
If you want to share your problems, why not see a psychologist?
