Project 365, Day 132
311 concert!
I hadn't seen 311 since my early years of college--so maybe 7 years ago? My question is--WHEN DID NICK HEXUM GET SO HOT?! haha!
I read on Yelp that the acoustics for the Austin Music Hall was terrible and the best spot was either up front or up on the mezzanine so when I got there, I bee-lined it for the mezzanine and got a spot by the rail so I had no obstructions.
The concert was great though the guy next to me asked me to "put away my camera so he could enjoy the show". I wanted to tell him to kiss my butt and get off my back. He was all trying to get in my rail space so I put my purse up as a barrier so his hairy arms would stop rubbing on me *shudders*. I laid low for a few songs, but went back to snapping my pics. He eventually traded spots with his lady friend--I win!
They played some oldies, but goodies along with some new stuff. They played "Amber", my ultimate fav and I videotaped it, BUT then ACCIDENTLY DELETED IT! I could kick myself :o( But the sound quality probably wasnt that great so I dont feel THAT bad.
Super great show!!! The opening band called Full Service was actually really entertaining and they're from Austin! So, I may have to check for their local shows.
