LJ drama & upcoming plans
Last night I was googling something about LJ and stumbled across Encyclopedia Dramatica, specifically the topic of "LJ drama". It's just like wikipedia, but it's freakin' HILARIOUS. I guess I must have lived a sheltered life on LJ cuz there's CRAAAAAAZY stuff that happens on LJ! I read for probably an hour before calling it a night, and was entertained the entire time. They even have quotes and screen shots from people's LJ--the ones that were stirring up trouble. Ah craziness...
Anyway, dinner was just with Tina last night since Walt still had some work to do. The foodies were awesome as usual. I just can never get enough pan fried flat noodle with beef :o) Afterwards, I went to Steve softball game that he's the captain of. They're a good group of people and I think all but 2 are signing up to play again next season.
Steve being all sporty
They ended up losing so they'll be playing a playoff game next week. If they had won, they would have been undefeated for the whole season, but now they have to duke it out with the team they played today because now they're tied. We'll be in Houston, but if the game is a late one, Steve wants to try and make it...oi.
Well, I scheduled surfing lessons for me and Steve when we go to Galveston! COWABUNGA! I'm super excited since I've always wanted to try it out, ever since I saw people surfing on Oahu's North Shore. Since the waters are too murky (from silt) to snorkel, I guess this is the next best thing. I was told to wear a swim suit that wouldnt shift (flash back to my boogie-bahn incident) and that pretty much rules out everything I have sooo I'm thinking of wearing a workout top? Yeah that'll work. As long as I'm in the water, I'll be happy...cant wait!
And only 4 more days until the Stone Temple Pilots concert!! I feel like I'm 13 all over again :oP
