Stuff, and El College-o...that means "The College" haha
Hey everyone. I'm updating, whoa!
Let's see what's went on recently...
Monday - I moved my stuff out here to the trailer (yes, I'm in Wise now), starting with this very computer that I am typing on right now, haha. I also stopped by the high school and talked to Deel, Mrs. Ratliff, and Dennis Deel. It was Deel's birthday, so I brought him some cupcakes that said "Happy Birthday" on them, haha. After that, Nina and I went to Wise to eat at the Huddle House and just catch up a little before college started, so that was cool.
Tuesday - Convocation. Boring. I saw Cornflake and Gilbert and talked to them a bit, so at least that was cool. I also went to Cavalier Comics and talked to Brian (the owner, haha) for a while and got a few Magic cards.
Wednesday/Today - Classes at UVA Wise started today. So Far, So Good. My first class was Music Theory, at 9:00. When I got to class, we had a pre-test to see how much we already knew. I knew next to nothing, haha, seriously, it was sad. After the class I talked to the teacher and told him my musical background (like I really have one, haha, but ah well) and told him I didn't have any formal music training and he stayed for a whole hour after class teaching me all the stuff I'd really need to know, which was REALLY awesome of him. I can now read music, to some extent, haha, that's something I've always wanted to be able to do. After class I talked to the teacher about music, and that was cool. He likes Dream Theater, haha. My second class was Composition. All we had to do in that class was write an essay to, just to see our current writing skill level. I BS'ed the whole thing, and that was great. I hadn't BS'ed that well since Mrs. Sykes' class. After that class, I came back home, since they are the only two classes I have on Wednesdays, as of now. I also ran back to Haysi today (I'm beginning to hate all this driving back and forth...) to give Deel a UVA Wise shirt I got him for his birthday, haha, although it was late, but ah well.
I don't really have anything else to say. There's probably a lot more worth saying, but I'm forgetful. Sorry, haha. Anyway, leave some comments or something.
