As 2007 Ends..
I need to post about what's been up with me.
Uhh lets see, November saw a lot of my school stuff finalize, I finished Publix Man 2 and 3, and they are on YouTube now, so just search for "Publix Man" and the other two should pop up, "The Revenge of Publix Man" and "The Final Chapter", so that's that.
I also finished up my internship on the 30th and applied for a job there as part of the crew.
Now onto December..I finished everything grades related on the 7th when I turned in my Portfolio for my Internship class, so I was happy about that, because I only had to survive one more week up at UNF as a student there.
The last week of school saw me mainly just finishing up stuff at Osprey TV. I threw an Osprey TV Staff party that week, which was a lot of fun, and was able to catch up on a ton of sleep that I had lost over the past four months.
On the 14th, I got a call from WJCT officially offering me the job as part of the crew and for me to come up to the station to fill out paper work. I also graduated on the 14th, and it was prolly one of the coolest things because I walked across that stage and realized that I wouldn't have to go to school anymore. It's not gonna fully hit me though until everyone else goes back because everyone is on Christmas Break.
I also applied at First Coast News as an Assistant Producer, so I'm hoping to find out about that sometime after the new year starts.
Christmas was nice, I got a new monitor because the one I had broke, I got some DVDs, and as mainly a joke, I got a "coupon" for "one car shopping adventure, to take place this weekend at Lucas Honda. Love Mom and Dad." That basically means that they took me car shopping for a new Civic. I got the car loan myself, and my parents present to me is some money to put towards it for the monthly payment. I got a 2008 Civic LX Royal Blue which looks more Navy than anything, so Isabelle if you read this, that's the kind of car you need to get haha
Overall, I think 2007 was a very interesting year for me, I worked at three jobs for a few months, learned how an honest to God TV station ran itself, started working at UNF's TV station, and realized how annoying Publix was.
Here's to 2008. May it be even more exciting than 2007.
