(no subject)
Work's kicking my butt...I can't wait to go home! I've worked like 90 hours so far this week...and I'll be working all of this weekend too. It's easily going to be a 100 hour work week. Maybe I should've been a lawyer...at least they know what they're getting themselves into. I've been working on the computer so much that my eyes are constantly blurry, and it's getting harder and harder to see.
I've finished one of my three reports...it's 36 pages long. Single spaced.
Two more reports left, but these should be much much shorter. Hopefully.
So that leaves the final presentation, which so far is about 40 slides long. But I haven't figured out a single thing to say yet. It needs to be around an hour long. I've got a couple of dry-runs Monday, and another one for the whole section on Tuesday, and probably one more with my boss on Wednesday. The actual thing is on Thursday. Wish me luckkkkk :-)
I'll be in Atlanta next Friday night! I don't know when I'm getting in yet, or where I'm staying--Daddy's reserving a hotel for me. Maybe I'll have a pool party.
My parents will be coming to Atlanta on Saturday to help me move in. Shopping and partying on Saturday, then getting settled in and getting my books on Sunday. Classes start Monday.
And then I'm going whitewater rafting the following weekend! That's going to be super fun.
Following weekend, my mom's throwing a party for her friend's mom, who's is leaving to go back to China. That's gonna be the earliest I'm going to get awesome homecooked food.
Speaking of food...I haven't gotten a meal plan yet. I can't decide between the 75 block or the 10 meals/week. I really don't need the 10/week, but 75 isn't enough. They really need a meal plan in between the two.
