SciFi & the weekend
SciFi tonight - Eureka, two eps of Dr. Who, and more fun if we feel like it!
I've got to meet my advisor in a few minutes to discuss my pre-proposal. It's more of an idea pitch, though more substantial than "I want to work on this". And since the topic is pitch, it's the Pitch Pitch!
Well, I was amused.
Plumber coming -sometime- this afternoon to fix the garbage disposal. I could make what I want to make right away when I get home, or wait 'til the plumber has come and gone. Regardless, it's likely that whatever I do, it'll wind up being inconvenient. Such is the way of plumbing.
I've got a bunch of reading (as per usual) to do this weekend, and this weekend also includes the Pirate Party and the belated linguistics welcome back picnic. Busy busy busy!
Mabon potluck last night was lovely. I didn't expect quite so many people! Or I would have brought more strawberries and whipped cream.
