So what did the shaking animal foot action actually mean to the clinic owner?

Yeah, and that one in particular was REALLY weird-looking. Patchy hair in greasy little spikes, half the size of anything else in the litter... definite alien. :-)

He meant "Hold this for me." It kinda made sense once I was told!

Someone going off shift transported it to the wildlife center. It just needed a couple days of TLC, and animal control or the humane society (not equipped to deal with random songbirds) would have euthanized.

My cat had his penis removed today... :( The good news is, he peed okay after that. They also removed 'more than 30' stones from his bladder...

Wow... with that many stones in his bladder, I'm inclined to congratulate him on his loss. Boy cats are SO prone to getting stoppered up right there! I hope he recovers well and has no further trouble!

Was the foot of the animal being shaken at you still attached to the rest of the animal? I can't decide which is less disturbing.

Still attached. Animal sedated. Doctor trying to clean something. :)
