I think that larvae developing under the skin would lead to screaming, more than to discussion;^)

When do you finish up? Will there be a residency?

I think it was supposed to say "lead to infection" (since now there's a yucky open wound).

I graduate in 2015, and if I'm lucky there will be an internship somewhere within striking range of Sunnyvale.

Not sure how easy it would be to find an internship - you're nearly an hour's drive from ANY vet clinic, right? :)

Oh no, there are bunches of veterinary offices around here--lots of animals. A lot of mixed clinics that do both dog/cat type stuff and big animal, and quite a few specialist big animal or small animal vets.

The vet that my dogs have been to is about 5 miles from my house. The one that Sybil will have (and who will come to her) is about 10 miles away. Oodles of vets.
