Conversations in our house
Rob: How'd you learn that?
Me: I was that whatever during um.
[ On Facebook during lecture. -ed]
Rob: Have you eaten?
Me: [long pause]
Rob: This is a yes or no question.
Me: Do you count dog treats?
Rob: [long pause] O-kaaaay. What do you have to do tonight?
Me [brightly]: Thingy?
Rob: Eat dinner.
To be fair, this is mostly exhaustion, not low blood sugar.
This conversation came shortly after the one about washing the toaster. Yeah, Rob washed the toaster today. I'm not supposed to plug it in. OK, don't plug in toaster, check.
