Moving status
We've got the majority of the kitchen done, just need to do the plates, glasses and a few items on top of the counter. Need to figure out how to pack knives....
Bedroom is 90% done. Rie was home today and made a major dent.
Kai's room needs to be done still but we have an estimate of 4 - 5 medium boxes.
Mom has been a BIG help. She was here Monday, Tuesday and tonight. We hope to have some more help tomorrow day from a friend of ours and then tomorrow night Lucy and Bob are coming up and we hope to have another pair of hands or two. Mom as well.
Saturday has me VERY nervous. Relying on my friend Tim Rabe and his 16 yo son Nico for stuff like moving the dressers, freezer, etc.
Last time we moved it was 3 truck loads (17' truck) and a few SUV's and Mini-Van trips. Down to one SUV tomorrow and Sat. and a mini-van tomorrow so we'll see.
I got a massage appt. scheduled for me and Rie on Monday because I know we will need it. Tonight I did the most packing I've done all week and I am a hurtin unit. Had to sit down twice with my heart racing and being out of sorts. I am in such bad shape. Feelin guilty. I know I won't be able to give it my all, damn it.
I put a SOS out to about 25 people I know, and only 3 of them responded. Eh...
Worst case scenario - we keep the truck another day and move more on Sunday on our own. Like I said earlier tonight "At least it's not the 30th today. We've got a few days"
A few people here in Rochester and friends online have said that Jacy (Landlord) broke the law by giving us 14 days. She gave us 30 but said we could waive June and July's rent if we were out by Aug. 1.
Got the keys tonight for the new place and did a walk thru. VERY excited about where we are going to. Nice people and neat place. Hope we have enough room. Only dif between here (major diff) is that we have a dininig room "area" and larger kitchen here. New place has a much smaller kitchen, no dining area. Upside is we will have a basement. Downside is no garage.
Aug 1, the clock starts on looking for a new place for next year. This time, I hope we get a house of our own.
Utilities are setup. Bummer is phone/dsl won't be done until Tuesday. WITHDRAWL! Hopefully we will be able to pick up a stray wi-fi signal.... if anything there's a few wi-fi places nearby and there's also my office I can go to.
Thought of taking Rie and Kai to a Carabou on Sunday for a relaxing cup of coffee sounds nice.

Got a contract today with a dentist office. October deadline so I wont be killing myself on it. 2nd contract in two days. Yesterday it was a eye doctor. Nice little cash infusion to help with the move and getting my joint account and 9412 account our of the red.
Just need to get the time now to get the work going.
