Dresser sux

Before Kai was born, we put Laurie's old dresser that belonged to her Grandmother into Kai's room and we got a dresser from Target or ShopKo or something.

This dresser is a piece of shit.

Drawers fall apart, won't stay on the tracks, bottom gives out. A few months ago the thing tipped forward.

This morning I was woke up by the sound of the dresser falling forward. Again. CRASH!

Not sure if the gravity befallen dresser was assisted by one of our cats. Doesn't matter. Dresser goes. NOW.

Waste of $120. Can't put clothes in it and we've been living out of piles of clothes in laundry baskets.

I got a little payment by a client today. We're gonna get a dresser. Thinking of a unfinished model and will finish it later. Solid wood construction (READ: Not Particleboard) that's 4 feet tall with 18" deep drawers. It's got 6 drawers but they are single column and not double column. Begs the questions: Who gets the top drawer? Do you alternate? Is it top 3 for Rie and Bottom 3 for Chris?

Dresser is $309 with delivery. Similar dresser has been found for $600 that is finished.

Looked at dressers on Craigslist and at Salvation Army already. Either REAL crappy like the one we have currently or just too damn small.

I want it NOW. Get it to my house NOW. Get it up to our bedroom NOW.

Yes, I'm frustrated. Big Time.
