This is part of a French novel that I had to translate for class. It makes me way to happy:
Touchable
Buses are soft to touch, especially if one takes them between their legs and one caresses them with two hands, from the front towards the rear, from the motor to the platform. But when one is on that platform one feels something harsher and rougher that is the support bar or sheet metal, something chubby and more elastic that is a buttock. Sometimes there are two, so one pluralizes the phrase. One can also grab a pulsing, tubular object that emits these foolish noises or even an implement with spiral braids that are softer than a rosary, silkier than barbed wire, smoother than a cord, and more slender than a rope.
