OMG January 1 is like a fic orgy, isn't it? Yuletide reveal are up! Which means I can tell you what I wrote there now too! In the end I received four stories, two full length and two treats, and they're all just so wonderful. I feel so lucky, you guys, you have no idea. (Eep, we're probably about to hammer the archive so hard again.)

Anyway, this year for my lovely recipient I wrote:

Schrödinger's Steel
There was someone beyond that iron-barred door, and he came either to kill her or to save her.
The Adventures of Robin Hood. 1400 words. Gen. Maid Marian.

This actually wasn't the fandom I was matched on, but I'd never watched Errol Flynn's Robin Hood before - criminal, I know! - so the request was a sign or something. As soon as I watched it I was definitely inspired to do a little exploration of Olivia de Havilland's wonderful Maid Marian.

We'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow
The summer can't last forever, but it's not over yet and Toby's going to make it last as long as he can.
Dante's Cove. 1000 words. NC-17. Toby/Kevin.

This is the fandom I was matched on, and oh, this show is so terrible and cheesy and I kind of love it anyway because it has moments, you guys. Anyway, this turned out to be a little bit of pre-series Toby/Kevin with just a shaaade of foreshadowing. (And yeah, the title's from Kokomo. I just couldn't help myself!)

And then I also wrote:

And The Snow Lay 'Round
'But all the stars were crashing 'round / As I laid eyes on what I found'
Crane Wife songs - The Decemberists. 1300 words. PG-13.

We Built Another World
One kind of a happy ending.
Wilby Wonderful. 350 words. PG-13. Duck/Dan.

It's a Fine Life
He calls himself Jack again these days, the Artful Dodger left behind in childhood.
Oliver!. 600 words. PG-13. Oliver Twist/Artful Dodger (Jack Dawkins).

yuletide
