In other news... I got into my grad school program of choice:
CUNY Queens College MA in Urban Studies
30 credits needed in order to fulfill the degree requirements. I figure if I take a class each summer session and take 3 classes each semester as a part time student, I can be done with the degree by next summer. It seems a bit ambitious, though, and I'm sure this won't be a cakewalk... though it would be pretty damn nice to have an MA within a year's time.
