There's been a lot of stuff I've wanted to say about my visit to California so far, but I'm never at a computer and when I am, I no longer feel the drive to talk about it anymore. I've been having a good time, for the most part.
One thing I do want to say is how much a cherish my relationship with Matt. I think few people could have gone through what we did when we were a couple and still be able to be as close as we are after it all. I really appreciate Matt as one of my closest friends.

Tonight I'm going to a place called Ricky Gene's, or something like that, to see Reverend Blue perform. I hope Jay sings that 300lb sound I like so much. The place we are going to is a bar and I've never been in one before so I suppose it'll be an experience. I wonder what I should wear...
I'm sort of mad at my sister, because there's this huge pile of dirty dishes that have been sitting on the counter since before I got here over a week ago and she hasn't done them. She says she always has to do them, but she's forgetting that I always did them when I lived here, so I really don't care if she has to now. She should do some work around the house. The place is such a mess.
I was going to do the dishes myself, even though none of them are dirty because of me, but there's no dish soap. That, too makes me even more mad because no one thought to get any any of the gazillion times we were out the last week. I even ran to the store for juice before Mom left and when I asked if we needed anything, my only request was for breakfast.
