So I was thinking today. This summer is going to really suck. Even though I have been working a lot these past few summers, I have always made it a point to get in one day of sailing on our boat. This summer is going to really suck because not only are we putting the boat up for sale, but we sold our slip and so we are not putting it in the water either. I'm feeling withdrawls already. Any of you that have had the pleasure of being in the middle of a body of water of a sailboat know what I'm talking about. It is the most calming feeling to sit there and feel the wind in your hair and know there is nothing around you. No barking dogs(unless we have reggie) no cell phones, annoying neighbors, cars, whatever. Just the water and you. I am going to miss that the most. I know, boo hoo for me, but this really sucks. And as I go to bed (late again tonight) I leave you with lyrics to the song that my dad ALWAYS has to play when we are out on the lake....
