Damnit History Channel, stop it with the bible crap already.
I prefer history that we're actually sure (as possible) about as we can be. Speculative potentiality about events that may or may not have happened several thousand years ago do not pique my interest.
And please stop acting as though you're assuming that these events actually happened. I find it really frustrating that the phrasing of these programs implies that Moses climbing Mt. Sinai and ACTUALLY receiving the word of god FROM THE SOURCE was a completely and totally irrefutable fact.
Don't misunderstand me, I DO find this sort of thing to be interesting, but when the majority of the programming covers this general area of history with the angle of it being completely true, well, it just gets under my skin.
