Recently, people have been asking me if I am planning on going back to China this summer. I simply say I have not decided. Of course, I would go back in an instant. If I could find a job in Beijing today, I would be on a plane tomorrow. So of course, planning for summer is something I have again been kicking around in my head lately. Recently though, I have been thinking about going back in the fall or perhaps the following spring for a more permanent stay. If I go back for classes, I would like a little more than a few weeks of lessons. I have been seriously thinking about enrolling at the Beijing Language and Culture University (or BLCU, because that is both a bitch to type AND say all the time) and working on a multi year degree in Chinese Studies. But the entire college process is an alien monster to me. After high school, I went straight to a two year tech school with just about no investigation into four year institutions. I know nothing about this topic. Nothing about American schools and less than nothing about international schools.
Now normally, I hate to do this, but I am going to outright solicit comments/instant messages on this topic. Any advice, help, useful sites or whatnot would be appreciated.
