Otakon...less than 3 weeks away!
Hard to believe Otakon is less than a month away! As far as my hotel mates for Otakon goes.....Jefferson is considered 35% maybe, while Samantha decided to stay with another person (it's cool with me, I respect her decision, and she was an awesome hotel room-mate at this year's Katsucon. If she ever needs hotel space for next year's Katsu, she's more than welcome), but I have gained a few more; fellow DAS'ers Mike DiPaolo (+1) and Trevor Castrenze (+1-2). But I can always take 2 more. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn once again, and this time I got a room with 2 beds. Hopefully, I can get a rollaway as well. Sometime between now and Otakon, I'm going to AAA to get Traveler's Cheques. I like to use them because it's so much much better than taking a lot of cash, especially when there are a lot of panhandlers around the Inner Harbor area. Plus, I'm going to charge up my re-chargable batteries for my digi camera and put my spare picture card in my camera bag. I still have my first one in my camera with photos from Katsucon & Tekkoshocon plus spare frames. So at least I can be prepared.
