So as all you fellow 307th-er's know, its company training week for every company except HHC...which is alright, but my boyfriend is in freaking on a mountain in Kunsan. I miss him like crazy! I barely get to talk to him because he can't charge his phone while he's there, so he keeps his phone off all damn day. Its cool though. The week is actually going by pretty fast! Its already Hump Day!!! Today and tomorrow are usually the fastest days for me. But of course, Friday is going to the longest day ever just because I'll be waiting to see Kevin...
Anyways...So Thanksgiving was really, really nice. The Slade's and SGT Murphey cooked up a ton of food in the dayroom at Alpha Barracks. There was only supposed to be about 10 people, but it ended being like 20+ and the people from the 1st floor dayroom came up with their food. It was a lot of fun too! The Slade's kids, Cameron and Liberty, are the most adorable kids ever! They're so playful with everybody! There was so much wine. I tried red wine and nearly puked! It was horrible, but I was definately buzzing by the time we left. Later that night, me, Kevin, Nack, and Tiana went to Daegu and went to a couple bars and this new club called Mary Jane. This club is pretty nice. The cover charge is like $10, but you get like this little ziplock bag that has a hand towel, a bumper-like sticker, a sample CD, and cigarettes. The CD has some pretty good songs on it too. The inside is set up pretty awesome too. When you walk onto the dance floor, there's a flight of stairs to your left, but don't do what Tiana did and go up there because it definately leads to no where! There's also a VIP room...yeah, me and Kevin kinda got kicked out of there LOL. Good times...good times... Then, we got a hotel, and yeah, you know the rest of the story! I called home the next day to talk to my family because it was still Thanksgiving there. I got to talk to almost everyone in my family! I was so excited. They kept passing the phone around. Everyone at home is doing pretty well, which is good because I don't have to worry about the drama while I'm here. I can't wait to go back home and see them. I'm glad I'm not there anymore, but I wish I was closer so that I could at least visit them when I miss them. I miss my little sister the most. I missing her grow up and everything. She just turned 10, so she'll be entering puberty soon, ya know. I want to be there for her because my mom won't. Anyways!!!
So it's almost Christmas!! Christmas is my ALL-TIME favorite holiday! I'm always in such a good mood. I love everything about the Christmas season - the Xmas lights, Xmas tree, candy canes, the cold weather, snow (when it does snow), being with the people who mean the most to you, egg nog! I want to decorate my room with lights and get a small fiber-optic tree, but I can't find anything at the damn Px. I'll just have to search online! Well, I hope everyone else had a great Thanksging and have a great holiday season!
