SIFRP Report - September 3
Sorry, SIFRP Report fans, for not posting this sooner. I didn’t game last weekend. I was out with an injury.
We had a new player join the group. Roy created one character and took over the playing of the NPC Ti’Tian Mudd (the mystery champion and one of Sorcha Glastone’s kidnappers). The new character is, Darin Storm, a buccaneer aboard the Siren’s Call. Upon hearing of the Glastone’s troubles he asked Eddard if he could join the search for Sorcha. He swore loyalty to House Glastone and is now in their service.
Braavos
Eddard & Sigurd Glastone, Pedro Chipeno (Braavosi water-dancer), Ionathan and Darin Storm made it to the Ragman’s Harbor of Braavos without further incident. Pedro warned his compatriots not to rise to challenges made by Braavosi Blades. They paid for a room at the Flowering Maiden while the Siren’s Call underwent repairs. Ionthan and Eddad’s wounds were tended to by a priest whom Pedro sought out. Sigurd and Darin roamed the dockside taverns seeking word of the Golden Bitch (the ship transporting Sorcha and Charlotte to Essos).
After a week Eddard had healed enough to carry out some House business. He took out a loan from the Iron Bank using his Valyrian sword as collateral. Darin and Sigurd heard news that the Golden Bitch had been spotted three weeks ago making sail towards Pentos. Fagen Pycelle, the new captain of the Siren’s Call (former captain Drogan died of his wounds), sent word that he was ready to sail and our heroes have begun their journey south to Pentos.
Pentos
Sorcha Glastone and her handmaid (and niece) Charlotte Snow made it to the free city of Pentos without incident. Ti’Tian Mudd tossed Nicoli into the harbor after an argument about the disposition of Sorcha and Charlotte (Gregor, Nicoli’s sell-sword, joined Nicoli in the drink). Ti’Tian took the girls into his custody, but hasn’t decided what to do with them. Coming into the harbor Sorcha noticed the hills near the city swarming with horses. Pentos appeared to be under siege, but she soon found out that the Dothraki horde was there for a wedding. Rumor has it that the “beggar king” has sold his sister to Khal Drogo for 40,000 Dothraki arakhs.
Stony Point (the Bay of Ice)
Daermon (the young Maester) and Owain (House Glastone’s new steward) have made it home with Lord Brandon and Lady Iris. The crippled Stark boy was still in a coma when they left Winterfell. Lord Eddard Stark accepted the King’s offer to be Hand (much to Brandon Glastone’s consternation).
The Narrow Sea
The squires Lewys Piper and Jenkins Hill are aboard the Queen Teylaria with Ser Rupert Brax. They are making for the free city of Pentos in search of Sorcha Glastone.
