I had a fun weekend of gaming at the
club. Friday was a terrific Pathfinder D&D game run by
Robert Thomson. His story is very good and the world we are playtesting is very creative. He told me this story should last two, maybe three weeks, then it's back to my Lustra/Pathfinder campaign. I intend to put
Luven Lightfinger's Gear & Treasure Shop to good use. I think it will have a place in the upcoming storyline in the game.
Saturday I played in Scott R's reconvened Mage campaign. We spent a couple hours recalling the storyline we played out three years ago. It was a lot of fun recollecting the PC's past. We were going over our notes and saying, "who's this guy? What's he up too?" Then someone would remember and we would all laugh about it. Not much happened with your favorite Heroin, Gabriela. I won't start posting these new sessions until I finish posting the first game's sessions. I will tell you that she learned to scuba dive - it seems that all the other mages are couch potatoes, Gabi's the only one that has any athletics and knows how to swim. - Of course her wetsuit is hot-pink. There were a few loose ends that never were resolved in the last campaign, we did resolve one and decided not to worry about the other. Gabi wants to go to Europe, she sees it as a grand adventure. The others see trouble. Of course there's trouble. You can't have a story without conflict.
I caught a bit of Caprica on the DVR, but was too tired to finish, once I do I'll have a post about it. It did look like an interesting plot thread that hasn't been explored yet.
